He doesn't work like we do. He's not on our side, more often than not. Forgive me if I don't have a lot of sympathy for the guy who mows people down in the streets.

After all the shit I went through for the Thunderbolts, I'm not about to ask if the Punisher wants to be an Avenger. And last time I checked, other-you wasn't too wild on the idea, either.

He's probably got some kinda system. He's not a maniac. But that doesn't make it alright.

Who are the Thunderbolts?

A group of former-villains who wanted to do right by the world. I thought I could help get them there. So I quit the Avengers for awhile, and joined them.

...I was wrong. _{( Not about their potential, because Luke was still working with them. Mel, at least, turned out right. But Clint doesn't think what he did for them was at all significant. )}
